Reading The Label

As our kids become adults in a world raised on genetically modified products the signs are bad for continued health and well being.  The latest animals studies show that those raised on gm products will suffer long term cancer, sterility, food allergies and birth defects.  That the fraud and death administration has condoned, promoted, and approved these products is beyond contempt.

85% of all corn grown in the united States is genetically modified.  91% of all soy grown is genetically modified.  88% of all cotton is now genetically modified in the States.  85% of canola is now genetically modified.  Last, but certainly not least is sugar beets of which 95% are genetically modified.  Using ANY of these products for yourself or your children will result in cancer, allergies, birth defects, and sterility.  Is this what you want for your children and grand children, if your kids can even have kids?

Along with all these genetically modified foods, we have another problem.  You think the BP oil spill is bad?  How about all the products you use every day made with petroleum that go down the drain?  That equals as much as is spewing into the Gulf of Mexico on a daily basis.

Want to stop all the madness?  It is going to take a lot of effort because those in power are not about to give up their huge checks just to make sure your health and the health of your children is secured.  Monsanto and Bayer CropScience have spent billions over the years to secure their future and screw yours.

What are you willing to give up in order to ensure the health of yourself and your family?  For myself it has been all vegetable oils, all corn products whether frozen, canned or fresh unless I know the vendor and it is organic.  But this is my personal choice.  I’ve traded in sugar for Stevia.  I use butter instead of oils for cooking.  I don’t care what the food police say about butter.  I do care about my health.

Are you willing to read the labels on products?  If you want to secure your health you have to.  Notifying companies such as Birdseye, Green Giant and all others that you will not buy their products until they are GMO/GM free is another option I’ve taken.  Stopping the franken foods is up to us, not the fraud and death administration.  They won’t lift a finger to secure good healthy nutritious food for us.  They get too much in kickbacks from Monsanto and Bayer CropScience.

We could blame the farmers, but they are as much victims as the rest of us.  Sold a bill of goods that GM/GMOs are essentially the same as organic products they are paying the price through the purchase of seeds and land that is turned into toxic barren waste.

Frankenfood in the Valley
GM sugar beets pose contamination  threat to organic produce
by Ken Roseboro

Field trials of GM beets began in the Willamette Valley in 2005 — quietly, Morton says. “The initial stages of GM beet seed production were carried out in secrecy for at least two years without other sugar beet seed growers having any knowledge or notification that GMOs were in the air, literally.”

The Oregon Department of Agriculture did not ask for public comments nor notify anyone about the trials. “A farming technology revolution went on silently for three years, and was definitely not televised or bragged about,” Morton says.

If all was above board then secrecy would not have been required by those who introduced these franken seeds.  Many countries around the world are banning gm/gmo seed importation altogether   Ireland, China, India, Brazil and many others have stood up for the health of their country and its citizens.  There is heavy opposition towards gm/gmo products within the EU.  Unfortunately here in America we are not allowed to know which products are gm/gmo thanks to the fraud and death administration.

Monsanto was originally a chemical company and has never strayed far from its roots.  Still spewing out chemical contamination they have the fraud and death administration exactly where they want it, in their pocket.  Their best known chemical contaminate is Round Up.  While it may kill weeds, it also has the ability to turn weeds into pesticide resistant monsters.  There is nothing good to say about Monsanto and their frankenseeds.

Organic Consumer writes:

With genetically modified foods and crops threatening public health and the environment, not to mention the next generation’s reproductive capacity, why isn’t there a massive consumer outcry to restrain Monsanto’s biotech bullying and ban genetically engineered foods and agriculture?

The answer is disturbingly simple. Collusion between Monsanto and elected public officials (including the current Obama Administration) has obscured the fact that almost all non-organic foods in the US contain GMOs. Despite poll after poll indicating that 85-95% of US consumers want mandatory labels on foods containing GMOs, Congress has heretofore listened to Monsanto and corporate agribusiness, rather than their own constituents. In the European Union, Japan, or South Korea, where GM foods must be labeled, there are no GM foods on grocery story shelves (and little or none served in restaurants), since most consumers would not buy them and a significant number would complain if they saw GMO labels on products. Consequently there are very few GM crops being cultivated in the EU (mainly a small amount of corn in Spain for animal feed).

Ignorance will be the death of us, literally!  Those in the know are not going to tell you what you have a right to know.  In fact, when a large grocery chain owner was interviewed they specifically said that if the public was made aware of which products were gm/gmo they would refuse to buy them.  Unwilling to lose money over the issue there was a consensus that the public didn’t need to know which products were frankenfoods.  Funny, but the video seems to have disappeared.  Anyone know what happened to it?

In 1992 Vice President Dan Quayle announced that GM/GMO foods did not have to be labeled nor safety tested.  That’s right, NO SAFETY TESTING!  This is the policy of the fraud and death administration to this day.  At the same time Arpad Pusztai and Gilles-Eric Seralini have publicized alarming data which points to severe damage done to animals fed these same products.  Read for yourself: 10 Things Monsanto Doesot Want You To Know (pdf document)

Victim of Agent Orange, Monsanto's product. Wikipedia image.

Monsanto’s legacy includes Agent Orange, which, to this day they have never paid one single cent towards those inadvertently exposed to it.   Monsanto’s legacy is nothing but devastation and ruin.  Many of our veterans of Vietnam suffer the consequences of this chemical herbicide.  Monsanto should be driven off the planet before the planet rids itself of us.

Monsanto actively blocks government regulation of GM/GMO products.  US regulatory and judicial bodies making key decisions rely on precedence set by Justice Clarence Thomas, a former Monsanto lawyer.  Is it any wonder we can’t get the a fair  hearing on this matter or change the fraud and death administration’s policies???

Michael Taylor once worked for the FDA and later represented Monsanto as their lawyer and then returned as the  FDA’s Deputy Commissioner for Policy when rBGH was granted approval. Round and round goes the revolving door with Monsanto’s determined to block any and all attempts to get the word out about these horrific products and the damage they do to humans and animals alike.  Is there any wonder that we can’t get good nutritious foods with these special interest people continually getting their feet in our foods?

Adding animal and fish genes to foods is becoming normal in the world of GM/GMO foods.  I found a tomato plant that had been modified with Flounder genes to prevent frost bite.  Why not toads with potatoes?  Feeling a bit queasy about now?  You should be. The possibilities for genetically modifying your food are as endless and full of variety as the Earth herself.  For more information on Monsanto go HERE:

If it isn’t hard enough to trust the food you eat, try looking at what is in your bathroom that you use on a daily basis and is full of petro-chemicals.  Why they are there exactly is a mystery.

Using any of the following products is opening up our bodies to cancer causing agents.

  1. Alcohol
  2. Mineral Based Makeup
  3. Mineral Oil
  4. Anti-bacterial products (Triclosan)
  5. Talc or Talcum powder
  6. Synthetic dyes, colors and fragrances.

This doesn’t count the shampoos, conditioners and antiperspirants we use on a daily basis.  It includes lotions and perfume we use.  I guess manufacturers don’t believe we have enough poison in our lives.

Let’s consider the word “fragrance.”  While you may think that a fragrance comes from flowers it simply isn’t true.  In fact, it is much cheaper for manufacturers to use synthetics than the real thing.

Of course, synthetics are always bad for our body so this one is not an exemption to the rule. Synthetic fragrances cause headaches, skin and respiratory problems, and hyperpigmentation and that is counting only the short term effects of this chemical. Actually, this substance doesn’t break down and they linger up to 2 days prior to washing. Traces of synthetic fragrances can also be found in human fat, breast milk and blood, which only prove that this chemical substance can infiltrate your body system.

Un-distilled crude oil becomes baby oil after cooking it.  Want to think twice about smearing it all over a newborn?  Another common product containing mineral oil is petroleum jelly, aka Vaseline.   The majority of baby products uses one of these two forms of crude oil distillates.  You wouldn’t bathe a newborn, let alone yourself, in a vat of crude oil, so why do we smear these products all over us?  The result of using these products is that we clog our pours and create toxic environment within us.

Our bodies cannot dispel toxins if the pours are closed.  Using mineral oil in any form is both toxic and the cause of many forms of cancer.  How’s that lip balm working for you now???  Did you check your favorite hand lotion?

The Oil Spill In The Bathroom

There’s an oil spill in U.S. bathrooms that’s roughly the same size as the BP disaster in the Gulf of Mexico. It’s coming from the petrochemical-based cosmetics we’re rubbing into our hair and skin and rinsing down the drain. U.S. oil addiction isn’t limited to the fuel in our cars. If you know what to look for, you’ll find it everywhere, even in the grocery store’s health and beauty aisle.

Up to 40,000 barrels of oil have been pouring into the Gulf of Mexico each day since the Deepwater Horizon oil rig blew up and killed 11 BP workers on April 20. With U.S. liquid fuel consumption at about 20 million barrels a day, that’s about 4 percent of U.S. oil consumption poisoning the oceans and washing up on our beaches every day. Coincidentally, that’s also the same amount of U.S. daily oil consumption that is used to produce the petrochemicals common in conventional cosmetics.

I could understand how back in the day they didn’t know about all the toxic effects that crude oil had on the human body and the environment, but that can’t be used as an excuse today.

While no one is accusing petroleum jelly of being cancer causing per se; it is the polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons which are the cancer producing agents.  These polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons or PAHs as they are known, are what manufacturers use to make their fragrances.  Banned in the EU since 2004 they are still widely used in the united States.  Does it seem like a health conspiracy here in the united States?  Think of who is making a killing off these products?  The information is out there IF you are looking for it.  Otherwise you will never know it.

Moving on to one of my personal favorites, Triclosan.  The fraud and death administration is taking heavy heat lately for allowing a pesticide to be used in products we regularly wash with.  How do you think they can claim it kills germs?  That’s right, germs are micro-organisms and Triclosan is a pesticide which kills the little buggers.  However, it may also be killing us.

Recent studies done have shown that Triclosan reacts with the chlorine in regular tap water to produce a gas called chloroform which is highly toxic to humans.  Adding sunlight to the mix and you have a cancer causing chemical reaction waging war on our immune systems.

Other studies done show that Triclosan is an endocrine disruptor. What does that mean?  The endocrine system are a group of glands located through our bodies.  Hormones secreted by these glands allow for full growth function, and are linked to organs with endocrine receptors.  Inhibit or disrupt these glands and their hormone delivery system and you wind up with various defects some of which could be life threatening.

The main glad that Triclosan targets is the thyroid gland.  A list of problems associated with the thyroid can be found HERE:

Researchers at UC Davis found that triclosan elevates calcium levels in cells, which can potentially affect neuro-development and neurological function. Triclosan has also been shown to impair mitochondrial function in mammalian cells. What exactly are the possible health effects of this?  Neuropathy, Alzheimer’s, Bell’s Palsy, Jacob’s Disease, and many others may have been contributed to by the use of Triclosan.

Triclosan has so saturated our planet it can be found in blood, urine, and even breast milk.  For a great source of information on triclosan click here:Triclosan Fact Sheet

The list of products which contain triclosan or some other similar product under a different name are so vast that I cannot list them here.  Fortunately there is another site which has done that for me.  Click HERE to view the HUGE and lengthy list of products.  See just how much poison you are taking into your body every time you shower or wash your hands.

I do not think it is far fetched for me to state that the fraud and death administration seeks our deaths, not our health.  The evidence against them mounts each and every day!

  1. My God, we’ve lost more men and women in Afganistan in June since the beginning of this 10 year endless war, in the illegal[ per Article.I.Section.8., cl 12-18] invasion of Iraq, now an illegal occupation there are 1.3 MN dead Iraqis, 2 MN externally displaced, 2.2 MN internally displaced and you are part of the food police instead of worrying about our children and grandchildren being murdered in 2 illegal ” wars “? The First is also used to peaceably assemble and redress our grievances to our government. We are using Afghanistan as a launching point for drones to murder people in Pakistan, the Gazans are being genocided and not a soul cares. So you use free speech and manipulate it to tell others what to eat I’ll use my First to keep organizing, calling, emailing and protest to save and give value to those coming home with PTSD so heinous they will never go beyond their 19 years normally. Visit Walter Reed and let me know how that food things goin’ for those kids.
    Peace
    Rhoda

  2. I am not the food police and you may do as you please where your food is concerned. I am only seeking to educate where our government refuses to.

As for the wars, just how do you propose I stop them? The war machine makes men, powerful men wealthy while the cannon fodder, us, die. How exactly would you propose I stopped it?

For myself I don’t believe in any of these wars. And yes, I do agree they are illegal and have been for many, many years. Exactly what is it you want me to do? I don’t live anywhere near Walter Reed hospital. I do have PTSD and I’m not about to go into that with you.

Again, I am not telling anyone what to eat. I did mention what I have stopped eating and how our food is killing us. If you have a problem with the facts I laid out, fine, let me know so I can do some more research. If not, maybe your comments would suit better on a blog concerned with war.

    In peace also,
    JMT
