DHS Spoiling For A Fight Or Chicken Little, The Sky Is Falling!

The feds are, as always, over-reacting to a few bad apples.  And I’m only calling them “bad apples” because these * bad apples * didn’t agree with the lies, thievery, and brutal authoritarianism of the feds.  Pushed hard enough, anyone will defend themselves in the best way they know how. And except for a few minor incidences of vandalism, (no buildings exploded, just a few broken windows,) and expressions of anger done verbally, no one is out to get them.  Sticks and stones and all that jazz.  If you are going to vote against the will of the People you need to grow a thicker skin because we will tell you how we feel.  Someone calling to say a lot of people are mad at them doesn’t constitute a death threat guys, get over yourselves.  But DHS is ready!  By God are they ready!

The latest and greatest * sky is falling * incident comes in the wake of the healthcare, (backroom bribery), vote.  Neither party is blameless although the Republicans would have you think so since this vote was along party lines.  This is the true meaning of plausible deniability.  After all, elections are coming and it is the Republican’s turn for a majority.  It won’t do to have the two-party system exposed for the fakery it is.

The article by DHS’ David Silverberg claims that the Tea Party movement will now become all about violence instead of law and order.  We aren’t buying that bilge.  After all, this is now in the hands of the courts as the 13 States file lawsuits against the unconstitutional legislation voted on by both parties.  Why should anyone get violent when there are other options available?  DHS claims we aren’t rational beings.  That’s the feds for you, who aren’t rational at all.  Talk about over-reacting!  < rolls eyes again >

New Vigilance Needed in Wake of Healthcare Vote

by David Silverberg
Monday, 22 March 2010

In such an atmosphere extremist violence is a real possibility, particularly directed against government installations or symbols of government authority. Coming on top of a census process that has also been infused with extremist charges, homeland security officials at all levels of government should be especially vigilant against potential attacks from domestic sources.

Domestic extremist terrorism has long been on the homeland security radar. In 2009 a report by the Office of Intelligence & Analysis in the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), titled, Rightwing Extremism: Current Economic and Political climate Fueling Resurgence in Radicalization and Recruitment noted that while there were no specific plots under way, “rightwing extremists may be gaining new recruits by playing on their fears about several emergent issues.” These included the election of the first African-American president and the economic downturn. It also reported that extremists were recruiting returning Iraqi war veterans. Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano later disavowed the report as having been released prematurely without proper vetting.

This report, like others of its kind has come from the SPLC which deems even groups such as The American Legion, (certainly NOT a violent group), to be considered a “hate group” when, in fact, it is the SPLC itself which is the cause of so much hate and discontent speech.  Someone there has their panties in a bunch and is taking it out on the rest of us.  For a group that * claims * to defend civil rights they keep giving themselves a black eye.  Credible?  Not in my eyes.  Oh, my bad, they want civil rights for criminal illegal aliens, not the Citizens of this country!

So why would the feds fear us?  The only reason the feds need fear the People is when they continually do things that are against our will, against the law, and against our Republic and Constitution.  Knowing the lengths to which the federal government will go to get what they want, including starting wars, it is rather like starting a war I’m sure we haven’t seen anything yet.

The People of this nation will NOT turn violent when other means are still at our disposal to follow.  So far 13 States have filed court cases with 36 others looking at resolutions and amendments to their State Constitutions.  I expect more will follow.  Are the States then part of the radical right-wing groups?  Please, get real here DHS.  I’m sure all those tea bags that were received there in Washington were a major threat.

Napolitano has already apologized for that report once.  Looks like Silverberg may need to next.

Homeland security chief apologizes to veterans groups

The report said extremist groups may try to attract veterans returning from the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. It also said extremists also may use the recession and the election of the nation’s first African-American president to recruit members.

The American Legion was among those who objected to the report’s mention of veterans.

Just how many economic issues can you lump into one reason for the feds to go radical?  And it is coming from the feds, not from the Citizens of this country.  We have expressed our anger verbally.  We do not feel the need to blow up buildings to show our anger.  And while the elite on capitol hill may not be able to control their money grubbing, back room deals, the rest of us don’t have that kind of character flaw.

The report that DHS seems so proud of, (if you read it you will laugh at the groups named within), came about because the Citizens of this country want border laws enforced.  How utterly rude of us.  Because of this the SPLC has decided we all belong to one hate group or another.  Here is one analysis concerning this report:

You Might Be a ‘Radicalized Right-Wing Extremist’ If…

By Michelle Malkin

The SPLC, you see, has designated the venerable American Legion a “hate group” for its stance on immigration enforcement. The report offers zero data, but states with an almost resentful attitude toward protected free speech: “Debates over appropriate immigration levels and enforcement policy generally fall within the realm of protected political speech under the First Amendment, but in some cases, anti-immigration or strident pro-enforcement fervor has been directed against specific groups and has the potential to turn violent.”

“Potential to turn violent”? So did the hysterical fervor whipped up by Capitol Hill over the AIG bonuses, which prompted ugly death threats from across the country. No mention here, though. Not “right wing” enough.

So long as it is the government is doing the dirty, the unconstitutional, the illegal it is OK then, but we are not allowed to speak out? What country do these legislators live in anyway?  Most of us still believe in the laws of this country.  I realize that it verges on a fairy tale, but we do believe it none-the-less.  And just because the squatter in the oval office and congress are breaking laws left and right, claiming our beloved Constitution outdated, doesn’t mean We the People have to agree with them.  Peaceful demonstrations are the only way we seem to be heard anymore.  And even then congress claims it an adoration.  Yes, they have been taking their stupid pills on a regular basis.

So why are the feds listening to a left-wing radical group like the SPLC?  Because it gives them legitimacy.  Talk about being radical, paranoid and pompous all at the same time!  Just how low with the feds stoop?  I’m sure we haven’t seen the worst yet.  They are just gearing up.  We need to stay sharp, stay alert, and not fall for ANY propaganda they care to dish out.  If they are trying to push us to violence, that is the LAST thing that we should do.

Can someone explain to me how a law firm comes up with intelligence reports to begin with?  I thought lawyers dealt with criminals and those being accused of a crime.  How does this qualify them to write ANY report concerning intelligence?  Again, the logic here escapes me.  But here we have it, another shining example of government intelligence. Can any of what the SPLC claim be verified?

The SPLC has done another report, Rage on the Right, more poetic fiction which the feds seem to take as gospel.  What are they smoking up there on the Hill anyway?  Maybe if they would share it with us we could all see from the same point of view.  As it is, I’m failing utterly to comprehend what they are doing up there and who they are taking information from.  How must it feel to know that the People you are trying to govern think you are off your fricking rocker?  Get these folks some mood stabilizers.  Their manias are showing.

According to the feds, we aren’t allowed to have opinions that differ from theirs.  We aren’t allowed to disagree or express that disagreement.  Guess they should have picked a different country to invade since this one still believes in free speech, freedom to gather and express ourselves, and the freedom to disagree with the government and those who think they know better than we do.  Well, you work for us guys and one of these days that will be made clear to you.

All We the People want is for our government to govern us within the boundary of the Constitution and doing what is good for this nation.  We abide by Constitutional law, why don’t the feds?  They are neither lords and ladies nor prices and princess.  They are our servants.  We will have our servants back very soon.  Those laws that are blatantly illegal and unconstitutional, like the healthcare bill, the bailout of the money men, will be addressed.  It is an easy fix for congress to abide by the same laws as the rest of us.

On the issue of intelligence gathering, there are quite a few organizations that perform this task for the government.  Two of them is the CIA and the FBI but there must be a dozen more.  So why listen to a nobody firm like SPLC?  Why should We the People listen to anything this organization of lawyers has to say?  Most of all, why in the world would we believe them?

How can a report entitled “Rage On The Right” teach tolerance to anyone?  At least that is the claim made by the SPLC on their pages.  The * report * above is nothing more than an opinion, just as this blog is MY opinion.  Should the government call my blog post intelligence?  Well, maybe if they want to join wiser heads than the ridiculous ones at the SPLC.

According to this SPLC opinion post:

The anger seething across the American political landscape — over racial changes in the population, soaring public debt and the terrible economy, the bailouts of bankers and other elites, and an array of initiatives by the relatively liberal Obama Administration that are seen as “socialist” or even “fascist” — goes beyond the radical right. The “tea parties” and similar groups that have sprung up in recent months cannot fairly be considered extremist groups, but they are shot through with rich veins of radical ideas, conspiracy theories and racism.

Shot through with radical ideas huh? Isn’t that how we got electricity, the telephone, and space travel?  Just who are the morons that claim *radical ideas* equates to violence and bombings? Who is crazy here?  We have some poetic writings but NOT journalism and certainly NOT intelligence. This type of language is only used when a story is being told.  Sure, the words are very pretty and flow well, but intelligence?  I don’t think so.  David Silverberg should KNOW better than that!

Some of the outrageous statements of this so called report are:

Furious anti-immigrant vigilante groups soared by nearly 80%, adding some 136 new groups during 2009.

There is a reason that law-abiding Citizens are angry over lack of border enforcement.  We look to the federal government to enforce the laws they made, but they aren’t.  No other country on this earth is told they can’t enforce their borders.  Look what Mexico does to illegals.  Nor have I seen any Rodney King type incidents associated with illegal aliens by anyone from this country.  From their own, I’ve read plenty, but no one in this country has harmed them.  Why should we obey laws the feds won’t?  Law is either obeyed by all or by none.  And we aren’t anti-immigrant, we are anti-criminal-illegals which are NOT immigrants by definition:

IMMIGRANT: In popular usage, an “immigrant” is generally understood to be a person who migrates to another country, usually for permanent residence.  Under this definition, therefore, an “immigrant” is an alien admitted to the U.S. as a lawful permanent resident.   The emphasis in this definition is upon the presumptions that (1) the immigrant followed U.S. laws and procedures in establishing residence in our country; (2) he or she wishes to reside here permanently; and (3) he or she swears allegiance to our country or at least solemnly affirms that he/she will observe and respect our laws and our Constitution.

ALIEN: By contrast, an “alien” is generally understood to be a foreigner — a person who comes from a foreign country — who does not owe allegiance to our country.

ILLEGAL ALIEN: An “illegal alien” is a foreigner who (1) does not owe allegiance to our country; and (2) who has violated our laws and customs in establishing residence in our country.  He or she is therefore a criminal under applicable U.S. laws.

UNDOCUMENTED IMMIGRANT: The term “undocumented immigrant” is an oxymoron (the parts conflict). An immigrant is synonymous with “permanent legal resident.” The old term for the document authorizing a permanent legal resident is “green card.” The term “undocumented” is derived from the accurate term “undocumented aliens” who are often called “border crossers.” Proper terms are “illegal alien” or “undocumented alien” but not “undocumented immigrant.” Although not commonly used, the term “documented alien” accurately refers to foreign nationals who have an unexpired non-immigrant visa such as H-1B.

The term “illegal alien” is used by U.S. citizens who believe that non-citizens entering our country must comply with our immigration laws.

The term “illegal alien” is predicated upon U.S. immigration law which requires foreigners entering the U.S. to comply with our country’s rules and laws regarding entry into, and residence within, our country.

Isn’t that amazing? We want others that come to this country and obey our laws. WOW! Radical Right Wing is RIGHT!

There is also the exaggeration of David Silverberg and the SPLC with zero facts to back them up.  A person can express any opinion they want to.  But show me where you get your facts and numbers.  Otherwise I’ll say that drinking the Obama Kool-aid will give you cancer of the brain and you cannot dispute it unless I am forced to give you my sources, or lack thereof.

All I can say is that after having read this report I’d be embarrassed to quote it.  Poetic, yes, opinion, yes, but real?  No!

  1. I think we’ll lose our minds through this debate even though it must happen. Regardless of what’s right, we’ll never be going back to how things were, for better or worse.

  2. You may have something there. Hopefully we will get the federal government under control and back on the planet.

    Thanks for dropping by…
