It’s Good To Be King, No Term Limits For President

When term limits are abolished then America will have a King. JustMyTruth

Current legislation to abolish term limits for the President sits in the House Judiciary Committee.  I’ve already pointed out that this *Committee* is tainted by special interest groups.  The fact that they are intending to Amend the Constitution to accomplish this fact only underlines my point that Congress has been bought.

H.J.Res 5 would amend the Constitution of these united States to allow the President to hold more than the 2 terms s/he is allowed now.  It is a very short amendment but one of such significance that I’m amazed no one has picked up on it.  I’ve already asked the DOJ to investigate this committee but have received no word back yet.  The bill in its entirety follows:

1st Session

H. J. RES. 5

Proposing an amendment to the Constitution of the United States to repeal the twenty-second article of amendment, thereby removing the limitation on the number of terms an individual may serve as President.

January 6, 2009

Mr. SERRANO introduced the following joint resolution; which was referred to the Committee on the Judiciary

Proposing an amendment to the Constitution of the United States to repeal the twenty-second article of amendment, thereby removing the limitation on the number of terms an individual may serve as President.

Resolved by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled (two-thirds of each House concurring therein), That the following article is proposed as an amendment to the Constitution of the United States, which shall be valid to all intents and purposes as part of the Constitution when ratified by the legislatures of three-fourths of the several States within seven years after the date of its submission for ratification:

‘The twenty-second article of amendment to the Constitution of the United States is hereby repealed.’.

And wouldn’t you know, the man who introduced this Amendment is hispanic??? Gosh, what a bloody surprise. If you get the feeling that these hispanics are out to turn America into the country of Mexico I feel the same way.  After all, why shouldn’t we face the violence and greed of Mexico??  We are neighbors after all and with the intention of creating a One World Government I’m sure Mexico will get its share of these united States.

The following committees have the bill and are going over it:

The 22nd Amendment as it is currently written states:

Amendment 22 – Presidential Term Limits

1. No person shall be elected to the office of the President more than twice, and no person who has held the office of President, or acted as President, for more than two years of a term to which some other person was elected President shall be elected to the office of the President more than once. But this Article shall not apply to any person holding the office of President, when this Article was proposed by the Congress, and shall not prevent any person who may be holding the office of President, or acting as President, during the term within which this Article becomes operative from holding the office of President or acting as President during the remainder of such term.

2. This article shall be inoperative unless it shall have been ratified as an amendment to the Constitution by the legislatures of three-fourths of the several States within seven years from the date of its submission to the States by the Congress.

We had reason to install this Amendment. It stops anyone from being King even if you don’t call them that. Having just won freedom from a King, they had every reason in the world to place term limits on this office.  dubya would have died for this to be enacted while he was pres. and Obama would love it even more since he may not even be a citizen of this country and so actually ineligible for the office to begin with.  Just think of the ramifications of no term limits for Pres…

You will notice in this bill that there is no mention of elections continuing to be held.  If there are no elections, how will we remove a President that is unsuitable for the office?  We won’t be able to.  Congress is moving to remove any avenue open to We the People to express our preferences in government.  They don’t want to hear from us, they don’t even want to acknowledge our presence!

The words from John Lennon’s Working Class Hero come to mind:

As soon as your born they make you feel small,
By giving you no time instead of it all,
Till the pain is so big you feel nothing at all,
A working class hero is something to be,
A working class hero is something to be.
They hurt you at home and they hit you at school,
They hate you if you’re clever and they despise a fool,
Till you’re so fucking crazy you can’t follow their rules,
A working class hero is something to be,
A working class hero is something to be.
When they’ve tortured and scared you for twenty odd years,
Then they expect you to pick a career,
When you can’t really function you’re so full of fear,
A working class hero is something to be,
A working class hero is something to be.
Keep you doped with religion and sex and TV,
And you think you’re so clever and classless and free,
But you’re still fucking peasants as far as I can see,

A working class hero is something to be,
A working class hero is something to be.

Yup, you work they reap the profits.  Why else would they be telling us the governments, (both State and federal), are broke when we can clearly see they are not?  This is how our government looks at We the People!  Don’t pay any attention to the crooks in Congress.  Go ahead and believe that everything is all right.   And watch as your world crumbles around you with the corruption so rampant in all three branches of government!  You can’t count on anything anymore.  If you think you can, your head is somewhere so deeply buried in the ground you will never see daylight.

In 1787 the leaders of the several States held a Constitutional Convention.  They were dissatisfied with certain issues dealing with commerce and the like and wanted to clarify issues facing these united States.

By 1786, Americans recognized that the Articles of Confederation, the foundation document for the new United States adopted in 1777, had to be substantially modified.  The Articles gave Congress virtually no power to regulate domestic affairs–no power to tax, no power to regulate commerce.  Without coercive power, Congress had to depend on financial contributions from the States, and they often time turned down requests.  Congress had neither the money to pay soldiers for their service in the Revolutionary War or to repay foreign loans granted to support the war effort.  In 1786, the United States was bankrupt.  Moreover, the young nation faced many other challenges and threats.  States engaged in an endless war of economic discrimination against commerce from other states.  Southern states battled northern states for economic advantage.  The country was ill-equipped to fight a war–and other nations wondered whether treaties with the United States were worth the paper they were written on.  On top of all else, Americans suffered from injured pride, as European nations dismissed the United States as “a third-rate republic.”

This is a fascinating read for those who want to know HOW the Constitutions Amendments came about.  History is a wonderful learning tool, so why has history been abandoned by schools?  Because if you don’t know why a thing was, you can’t take steps to protect of defend it, or make the changes necessary when you need to.  History has always tried to teach us but is seldom learned from.

Once we had won our freedom all was NOT peaches and cream.  There was fighting constantly between the States.  Debt rested heavily on the fledgling country and people were unhappy.  Not to mention that the rest of the world considered us nothing but a 3rd world country.  And now, it seems, that Congress intends to send us right back to that status…

There was much discussion to be had to save our new Republic.  James Madison, one of those trusted to represent We the People at the time, had a plan.

James Madison believed that protection for liberty lay in the structure of government, not in a listing of “parchment” guarantees.  As he saw it, the primary threat to liberty in the past had come from oppressive majorities capturing the reigns of power.  Madison’s solution, as he proposed it in Philadelphia, was to “enlarge the sphere” by  transferring much power to the federal government.  Because the nation is comprised of many more and more diverse communities of interests than are individual states, it becomes much more difficult for any one interest group to become a majority and capture control of power.  Rather than see competing factions as a danger, Madison saw the saving multiplicity of interests as a protection for liberty: “Ambition must be made to counteract ambition.”  Madison further aimed to block the ability of an oppressive majority from working its will against minorities by dividing power within the national government into three relatively co-equal branches, each of which would be given weapons to fight the other.  Even if a majority were to capture one branch, Madison reasoned, it could only do limited harm if the other branches remained out of its domination.

What Madison didn’t foresee was that a shadow government with unlimited funds would work to take over all three of the branches of government.  They have accomplished this mission as evidenced by Congress passing laws which are patently unconstitutional.  In this way, laws could be enacted, upheld by Courts, and signed into law by the President, which would erode the path of Liberty.  Back then money was a problem and the New World Order had not been heard of openly.

With this Constitutional Convention as a road map, Congress is seeking to again employ the Constitutional Congress to change our Constitution.  As reported by World Net Daily:

White House nominee: ‘It would be the end of the United States, and that’s no hyperbole’

Last week, a public policy organization issued an urgent alert that affirmative votes are needed from only two more states before a Constitutional Convention could be assembled in which “today’s corrupt politicians and judges” could formally change the U.S. Constitution’s ‘problematic’ provisions to reflect the philosophical and social mores of our contemporary society.

“Don’t for one second doubt that delegates to a Con Con wouldn’t revise the First Amendment into a government-controlled privilege, replace the 2nd Amendment with a ‘collective’ right to self-defense, and abolish the 4th, 5th, and 10th Amendments, and the rest of the Bill of Rights,” said the warning from the American Policy Center.

So, let’s see what has been going on lately:

  1. There is a move to replace the dollar with a global currency.
  2. The current Congress wishes to re-write the Constitution
  3. The Congress wants to regulate your gardens; making your garden illegal; heirloom seeds would be illegal.
  4. Interstate commerce now makes it illegal for certain products to be shipped and will confiscate items it finds in the mail thereby eliminating your rights to feel secure in your belongings or person and subjecting you to search and seizure without notice.
  5. Congress wishes to eliminate term limits for the office of President
  6. Congress wishes to eliminate or ban all guns; subject those guns out there with unreasonable laws and taxation;  regulate all ammunition for said guns.
  7. Congress is trying to expand GMO foods.
  8. FDA is approving drugs which are harmful to human beings on the word of the drug companies which produce those drugs.
  9. Voluntary is now legislated to mandatory volunteerism.
  10. Smokers are the new back-of-the-bus citizens.
  11. Government refuses to secure our ports and borders while sending our young men and women to die in other countries to defend the other countries freedoms.
  12. Confiscation of multi-generations of tax dollars to pay the retention bonuses of failed companies that need the money cuz they are too big to fail.
  13. Government hides windfall assets and profits to justify confiscation of working class taxes.

Have I missed anything here?

I think I smell a very large RAT!

I think I smell a very large RAT!

I think it is time to clean the House!  Time to sweep out all the corruption and graft going on in the government as a whole right out the door as we would sweep out the trash.

April 15th is coming up.  What will you be doing on that day?  Why not call in sick and make your voice heard?  Will you do nothing and hope that others will?  Will you make your voice heard or slink off into the shadows to hide and hope it gets better???

All it takes for evil and corruption to win is for good men and women to do nothing.  This is not an idle quote, but a wake-up call to arms for the American people who have been sleeping while others have been plotting to destroy your country!

One Response to “It’s Good To Be King, No Term Limits For President”

  1. The Twenty-second Amendment (Amendment XXII) of the United States Constitution sets a term limit for the President of the United States. The United States Congress passed the amendment on March 21, 1947.[1] It was ratified by the requisite number of states on February 27, 1951.

Franklin D. Roosevelt, who served from 1933 to 1945, is the only president elected to more than two terms. Under the 22nd amendment it would be possible for a president to serve two full four-year terms after having assumed the Presidency by means other than election for a duration of up to two years. However, no president besides Roosevelt has ever served more than eight years.[2]
