Citizens Prefer Sex To Traitors

How sad is it that in this country that we prefer to read sexually explicit material and can’t be bothered with the news that the pretender president of the United States of America condoned and Ok’d the torture of POWs? Because those being held in Guantanamo are POWs. The pretender president lied about the WTC, about Iraq, and those who were responsible for it, and for the first time in our history, ordered a preemptive strike on another country based on lies.

Where is the media coverage? Where is the interest of the American People? Where is our outrage? Have you all gone to sleep out there? How much Kool-aid did you drink today? Are you so medicated that you no longer feel anything except the need to jerk off?

From AlterNet.org we have this article:

Torturers in the White House: Why Is This Story Being Ignored?

By Ruth Conniff, The Progressive. Posted April 17, 2008

The biggest news of the last week went virtually uncovered by the mainstream, print media. ABC News first reported last Wednesday that top Bush Administration officials, including Dick Cheney, Condoleezza Rice, John Ashcroft, and George Tenet, Colin Powell, and Donald Rumsfeld met to discuss which particular torture techniques should be used against Al Qaeda suspects in U.S. custody.

The group signed off on specific techniques, including sleep deprivation, slapping, pushing, and waterboarding, and gave instruction “so detailed … some of the interrogation sessions were almost choreographed, down to the number of times CIA agents could use a specific tactic.”

If John McCain is seriously considering Condoleezza Rice as a running mate, the former POW should keep in mind that Rice not only condoned torture, but chaired the National Security Council’s “Principals Committee” meetings to plan the details of torture of prisoners in U.S. custody.

John McCain seeks a running mate that is guilty of High Crimes against the Constitution? And no one is asking questions about this???? A POW talking to the torturer of POWs as a possible running mate. ARE WE INSANE???

The greatest sadness in this country is the inability of the People to DO ANYTHING. Are you waiting for someone else to do it for you? Are you going to sit on your duffs and watch your country go down in flames because you would rather read/watch porn rather than give a shit about what is going on around you? If so, you deserve the government controls that will be placed upon you and the misery that comes with being a slave of the Nanny State.

Then-Attorney General John Ashcroft was so troubled by the meetings, he was moved to object: “Why are we discussing this in the White House?” he asked, according to ABC. “History will not judge this kindly.”

On Friday, ABC added this blockbuster: Bush himself was aware of the meetings. Unlike Ashcroft, he had no compunctions. There was nothing “startling” about the revelations that his top advisers were directing the waterboarding of individual prisoners, Bush told ABC’s Martha Raddatz. “And yes, I’m aware our national security team met on this issue and I approved,” Bush said.

Where is your outrage? Have you become so numb that you no longer feel anything? Where is your sense of duty to your Country? There seems to be no end to the apathy and that is scary as hell. Unless, of course, we bring up smoking issues, THEN you get vocal. How sad that only an issue against a sect of the population gets any notice at all! FOOLS! Your pretender president has just admitted that he is a traitor to this country and you do nothing.

Comfortably Numb: How Psychiatry Is Medicating a Nation

By Onnesha Roychoudhuri, AlterNet. Posted April 17, 2008.

Author Charles Barber discusses Americans’ unrealistic notions about happiness. We’ve medicalized a lot of life issues that aren’t mental illnesses.

While we’ve now become accustomed to the barrage of prescription drug commercials on prime-time TV, it’s jarring to learn that this advertising is legal only in the United States and New Zealand. The pharmaceutical industry doesn’t just target Americans directly, but also spends roughly $25,000 per physician per year. With the aid of information from data mining companies, a pharmaceutical representative knows exactly how many prescriptions for what medication a doctor has written, allowing the industry to individually target them.

How Americans came to this fraught relationship with the pharmaceutical industry and its drugs — particularly antidepressants — is the subject of Charles Barber’s new book, Comfortably Numb. A veteran of mental health programs in homeless shelters and a lecturer in psychiatry at the Yale University School of Medicine, Barber trains his eye to the confluence of science and culture that have led to the widespread prescribing of medications once reserved for the most serious cases.

The drugging of American Citizens is just a step on the road to the Nanny State where all decisions are taken out of our hands and made for us. Why is it that none of you can be bothered to do something? Is it that you take your freedom so for granted that when you lose it you won’t even notice it?

Why is it that our borders are wide open but Americans spend 2 extra hours in line at the airport and consider that normal? Why is it that this doesn’t strike Americans as being treated like a criminal, assumed guilty, before being found innocent? It truly amazes me that we are so complacent, so drugged, and compliant that we seem to have no will to fight for ourselves and our freedoms.

Fake science, fraudulent science, pseudo-science, non-scientific facts are being crammed down the throats of Americans every day and no one seems to question this in any way. What is happening here? If you can find the time to enjoy porn, why can’t you find the time to care about what is happening to you otherwise? Do you realize there are as many scientists that say Global Warming is a hoax as there are that claim it isn’t? To me it is just more fear mongering.

I guess I’m talking to the wall here. Yelling into an abyss as darkness covers America and the freedoms of the past, are just that, past. Complacent cattle, sheeple. ~ shakes head here ~ You should care about your futures, your children’s futures, the world they will inherit. Now is when you need to pay attention, later it will be too late. But you accept the drugs for conditions that didn’t exist even 5 years ago and say, “Oh, I’m mentally ill! Boo Hoo! Poor pity me, I’m unhappy, I must be depressed.” You don’t seem to understand that you have to have bad days in order to appreciate the good days.

Hello.
Is there anybody in there?
Just nod if you can hear me.
Is there anyone home?

Come on, now.
I hear you’re feeling down.
Well I can ease your pain,
Get you on your feet again.

Relax.
I need some information first.
Just the basic facts:
Can you show me where it hurts?

There is no pain, you are receding.
A distant ships smoke on the horizon.
You are only coming through in waves.
Your lips move but I cant hear what you’re sayin.
When I was a child I had a fever.
My hands felt just like two balloons.
Now I got that feeling once again.
I cant explain, you would not understand.
This is not how I am.
I have become comfortably numb.

Ok.
Just a little pinprick. [ping]
There’ll be no more –aaaaaahhhhh!
But you may feel a little sick.

Can you stand up?
I do believe its working. good.
That’ll keep you going for the show.
Come on its time to go.

There is no pain, you are receding.
A distant ship smokes on the horizon.
You are only coming through in waves.
Your lips move but I cant hear what you’re sayin.
When I was a child I caught a fleeting glimpse,
Out of the corner of my eye.
I turned to look but it was gone.
I cannot put my finger on it now.
The child is grown, the dream is gone.
I have become comfortably numb.

Pink Floyd lyrics

Sure seems to fit doesn’t it? It describes my sentiments exactly and it describes the American Citizen to the tee. For those who are aware enough of their surroundings to care, read this:

Chronicles of the Empire No. VI; Monetary War Has Been Declared Against the United States, an Analysis by Thierry Meyssan

Wake up America. Wake up before all you love, all you have ever cared about, is gone. Wake up before your children find themselves slaves of the State. Wake up and look around you.
