McCain, The McNasty Outed…

Now, you have to wonder how the McCain spin doctors will work this one. Apparently McCain has a real potty mouth. And has been since his youth, so you can’t say this is something that happened to him because he was a POW or anything. There are no excuses for this that are either reasonable or acceptable. The rumor mill is rife with people not saying that McCain said this or that, but only off the record. Well, there is a book coming out with all McCain’s mean temperedness exposed. It should be an “ear” opener to say the least!

Now I have nothing against anyone losing their temper in private so long as it doesn’t become abusive or violent. However, for a political figure, and wannabe president to have so little control of his temper and mouth is just plain dumb! His handlers either should have had him on better leash or he should have gone to anger management classes LONG, LONG AGO! Considering this lack of control, there is no way he is fit for presidency.

Book Reveals: McCain Flipped Out, Called Wife a “C*nt”

Sad, bitter old man.

Raw Story is running an exclusive by Nick Juliano; some highlights:

“John McCain’s temper is well documented. He’s called opponents and colleagues ‘shitheads,’ ‘assholes’ and in at least one case ‘a fucking jerk.’

“But a new book on the presumptive Republican nominee will air perhaps the most shocking angry exchange to date.

“The Real McCain by Cliff Schecter, which will arrive in bookstores next month, reports an angry exchange between McCain and his wife that happened in full view of aides and reporters during a 1992 campaign stop. An advance copy of the book was obtained by RAW STORY.”

“Three reporters from Arizona, on the condition of anonymity, also let me in on another incident involving McCain’s intemperateness. In his 1992 Senate bid, McCain was joined on the campaign trail by his wife, Cindy, as well as campaign aide Doug Cole and consultant Wes Gullett. At one point, Cindy playfully twirled McCain’s hair and said, ‘You’re getting a little thin up there.’ McCain’s face reddened, and he responded, ‘At least I don’t plaster on the makeup like a trollop, you cunt.’ McCain’s excuse was that it had been a long day. If elected president of the United States, McCain would have many long days.

“The man who was known as ‘McNasty’ in high school has erupted in foul-languaged tirades at political foes and congressional colleaguesmore-or-less throughout his career, and his quickness to anger has been an issue on the presidential campaign trail as evidence of his fury has surfaced.

“In the book [Schecter] outlines several other examples of McCain loosing his cool and raises the question of how that would affect a McCain presidency.”

What should voters make of this pattern? In February 2008 Tim Russert succinctly described McCain on MSNBC’s Morning Joe. A devilish grin spread from ear to ear as Russert, no McCain hater, leaned forward and spoke in a whisper, ‘He likes to fight.’ Russert got it right. But the big question isn’t whether McCain likes to fight: it’s who, when, and how.

Seems to me this is a very unstable individual. Do we want someone like this leading this nation? Does our reputation need any more tarnish? Can McCain be trusted to keep his cool when it counts? It sure doesn’t seem that way. And the complicity of the media in not showing this part of him off is disgusting. People should know the real McCain, not the image projected of a cool, calm, collected individual who, albeit slow upstairs, is non-the-less fit for duty. Makes me wonder how he has gotten elected here in Phoenix for so many years!

How about having McCain anywhere near a nuclear button??? Sounds like a really bad idea to me. Just how sure are we that this character won’t lose his mind one night drinking with his buds and order us to blow it? One can only hope he has a 24 hour nanny that keeps him in line.

Is this the best that can be found for running this country? Is this all there is? Are we supposed to be satisfied with this sort of person? Or Hillary and her exaggerations or misspeaks? Or how about Obama and his preacher and mentor, No not the preacher, the other one, the one with the communist background, Frank Marshall Davis.

I am appalled at what is found to be acceptable by the American Citizen. We should be outraged that this is all we are offered for this high office. It is a sad, sickening day to realize how far we have fallen when morons with immature temper tantrums are allowed to run for President of the United States of America. It is just too pathetic for words.

We deserve better, in fact, we deserve nothing but the cream of the crop to run for president of this country. It is NOT good enough that you run just because you can.

Choices are the hinges of destiny. ~Attributed to both Edwin Markham and Pythagoras

Our choices need to be real ones that we can believe in and trust with all of our hearts. I didn’t drink the kool-aide and just cuz you said so doesn’t make it true! I’m still looking for a true leader. So far its none of the above.
