Is President Bush fit to command?
I seriously want to know. And I want to know what Congress is going to do about this, TODAY! I’m tired of his, President Bush’s, insanity. How do you know when a person is insane? Well, there are many criteria. Let’s see how many GW meets.
According to the Free Dictionary the definition of insanity follows:
n. pl. in·san·i·ties
1. Persistent mental disorder or derangement. No longer in scientific use.
a. Unsoundness of mind sufficient in the judgment of a civil court to render a person unfit to maintain a contractual or other legal relationship or to warrant commitment to a mental health facility.
b. In most criminal jurisdictions, a degree of mental malfunctioning sufficient to relieve the accused of legal responsibility for the act committed.
a. Extreme foolishness; folly.
b. Something that is extremely foolish.
Synonyms: insanity, lunacy, madness, mania, dementia
These nouns denote conditions of serious mental disability. Insanity is a grave, often prolonged condition that prevents a person from being held legally responsible for his or her actions: was judged not guilty for reasons of insanity.
Lunacy often denotes derangement relieved intermittently by periods of clear-mindedness: yelled wildly in a moment of utter lunacy.
Madness often stresses the violent aspect of mental illness: a story about obsession and madness.
Mania refers principally to the excited, or manic, phase of bipolar disorder: prescribed drugs to control the patient’s periods of mania.
Dementia implies mental deterioration brought on by an organic brain disorder: underwent progressive stages of dementia.
Yup, I’d say G.W. Bush qualifies for each and every one of these items. He believes himself King George after all, without the need for Congress, the Courts, etc. to reign in his mad grab for power. How else can you explain a man whose every action simply defies explanation, reasonable decision making processes, and the ability to lend credibility to his office. Never mind that he has broken his oath of office. Yup, I charge George Walker Bush with insanity and the inability to perform in the office he was elected to. And this is why!

WASHINGTON (Reuters) – President George W. Bush on Saturday vetoed legislation passed by Congress that would have banned the CIA from using waterboarding and other controversial interrogation techniques.
Lawmakers included the anti-torture measure in a broader bill authorizing U.S. intelligence activities.
“Because the danger remains, we need to ensure our intelligence officials have all the tools they need to stop the terrorists,” Bush said in his weekly radio address. He added that the vetoed legislation “would diminish these vital tools.”
House of Representatives Speaker Nancy Pelosi of California said Democrats would try to overturn Bush’s veto and said U.S. moral authority was at stake.
“We will begin to reassert that moral authority by attempting to override the president’s veto next week,” Pelosi said.
Democratic Sen. Edward Kennedy of Massachusetts called Bush’s veto “one of the most shameful acts of his presidency.”
It is unlikely that Democrats, the majority party in Congress, could muster enough votes to overturn Bush’s veto. The bill passed the House and Senate on partisan votes, short of the support needed to reverse the president.
The House approved the legislation in December and the Senate passed it in February despite White House warnings it would be vetoed.
I do not care HOW good you think you look in a suit, it is no excuse for this type of behavior. That Pelosi HAS DONE NOTHING to reign this bastard in astounds me! That Congress has not come after him, is nothing short of UNCONSTITUTIONAL!
THE CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA
WE THE PEOPLE of the United States, in order to form a more perfect union, ESTABLISH JUSTICE, insure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general welfare, and SECURE THE BLESSINGS OF LIBERTY TO OURSELVES AND OUR POSTERITY, do ORDAIN and ESTABLISH this Constitution for the United States of America.
Excuse me, but I totally lack *domestic tranquility*, do not feel the *general welfare*, and where, BY GOD, is Justice? How dare this maniac stand before us and pretend to do things in OUR NAMES, for the rest of the world to see?
The Senate shall have the sole power to try all impeachments. When sitting for that purpose, they shall be on oath or affirmation. When the President of the United States is tried, the Chief Justice shall preside: And no person shall be convicted without the concurrence of two-thirds of the members present.
Judgement in case of impeachment shall not extend further than to re-moval from office, and disqualification to hold and enjoy any office of honor, trust or profit under the United States; but the party convicted shall nevertheless be liable and subject to indictment, trial, judgement and punishment, according to law.
I demand Congress do their jobs or face the wrath of WE THE PEOPLE!
