Calderon Stamps Foot To Congress Over Arizona Law
Felipe Calderon is set to visit, and pontificate, before an eager congress today,(Thursday). One of the expected topics is Arizona’s new immigration enforcement policy. What he hopes to gain by going to congress is anyone’s guess. This trip will not impact the way Arizona does business or change the new law. Arizona is being invaded and we aren’t going to take it any more. Go right ahead and stomp your foot all you want Philip, we couldn’t care less! Mexico has NO room to talk!
Congress and the POTUS, (current and former), have ignored, disregarded, turned a blind eye, and otherwise acted as though this invasion isn’t happening. Arizona is tired of it. While California and Texas have a great fence to keep Citizens safe and illegals out, Arizona bears the burden and cost of all these illegals. The promised border fence doesn’t exist here.
Arizonans are entirely sick of the garbage, vandalism, lack of respect for property, our Citizen’s rights to feel safe and secure in their homes and possessions for which the Constitution guarantees us but which the federal government utterly ignores.
We certainly gave the feds every opportunity in the past 10 years to enforce federal laws before doing anything for ourselves. Ignoring this situation hasn’t made it go away. What happened to all that money supposed to go to build an impenetrable fence across the border? It certainly wasn’t used in Arizona!!! I believe it was stolen.
Nothing would make me happier than confronting Calderon and asking him why his people are fleeing Mexico as fast as possible? Is he paying them to leave? I’d like him to explain why he and his corrupt government aren’t better neighbors with the united States by keeping Mexicans in their own sand box. I’d like very much to hear how Mexico can blast Arizona’s new law when Mexico’s illegal alien laws are so much worse. Tell you what, when Mexico does immigration reform Arizona might reconsider SB 1070.

Ask ranchers along America’s border with Mexico what’s been going on, and they’ll say “Invasion!”
By Glynn Custred
Olga Robles and her husband Frank live just eight blocks from the international boundary that separates Douglas, Arizona, from the Mexican city of Agua Prieta. For years men have illegally crossed the border on their way north looking for work. Mrs. Robles said she frequently saw them pass through town in pairs or small groups. Then about two years ago the trickle swelled to a flood with groups of thirty to well over a hundred people at a time pouring across the border, hurrying through alleys, through people’s yards and between their houses, climbing over roofs and clambering over graves in the cemetery. They knocked down fences, trampled flowers and shrubs, and cluttered neighborhoods with litter. They came in groups all day long and in a steady stream throughout the night while dogs in town barked till dawn. In frustration Mrs. Robles finally told the authorities, “If you can’t do anything about the trespassers, then at least shoot the dogs so I can get some sleep.”
Besides the surging numbers Mrs. Robles noticed something else. No longer were the migrants just men looking for work; now there were women and children as well, whole families illegally crossing and streaming north. “That’s when I realized it was an invasion,” she said. Indeed “invasion” is a word frequently heard along the border, and official statistics show why. In the first six months of this year, the U.S. border patrol apprehended 176,655 illegal aliens in the 21-mile Douglas section of the border alone.
Again, the federal government has turned a blind eye to the plight of those along the U.S. Mexican border acting for all the world as if those of us who speak out against this invasion are out of our ever-loving minds and making a big deal of a “few alien migrants.”
Were it actually “just a few migrants,” no one would be concerned. The buffoons in congress seem to forget that minor detail. However, it is estimated that at least 10,000 illegal aliens are added to our population on a daily basis. You heard me DAILY!!! Immigration reform? Secure the doggone ports and borders!!! What part of that isn’t clear to Washington D.C.?
In agreement with Senator McCain, we believe that an increase of 10,000 total additional illegal aliens is added to the United States population each day.
This reflects figures that include illegal aliens successfully entering our nation combined with those who overstay their visas.
See a letter from John McCain, who is patently out of touch with his constituents!
Clearly we have a problem. Just as clearly those in D.C. have been taking too much money from big business supporting illegal aliens in the invasion of the united States. Clearly there is no help coming from our elected officials currently in D.C. And while border fencing was built, (cutting the stream of illegal aliens to a mere trickle), across California and Texas, none has been put along the Arizona border, (second longest border), making Arizona and New Mexico the gateway for the invasion. Arizona’s costs due to illegal aliens has risen dramatically in recent years.
Increase comes as state is about to put into effect tough immigration law

The latest figures show that Arizona, which is about to put into effect the nation’s toughest immigration law, also is the only border state where illegal crossings are on the rise. While tightened security and daunting fences in Texas and California have made Arizona a busy crossing corridor for years, migrant smugglers now are finding new ways through the state’s treacherous deserts.
There is a 6% rise in the amount of illegals crossing into Arizona. If it was your yard being trashed, the gravestone of your family member being defaced or knocked over, the fence around your yard broken down, your flower beds trampled, just how much would you welcome these criminals passing through?
If it was your sister, your mother, your daughter, or your girlfriend being tied to a tree and gang raped and then murdered, just how would you feel about illegal aliens passing through or staying within the population? What if it was your house they drove into because they were drunk? And they are always drunk! And then we have their fighting. They have something in common with the Black people here. For some reason they all scream at each other in public. I have to assume they think that sharing this is lovely for the rest of us to watch and listen to!
No, I’m not exaggerating in the least. Take the following article for example done in 2006 by Jim Kouri. It is absurd what these statistics show. And the same people keep coming in over and over again. If they don’t like it, congress can stick it where the sun don’t shine.
In the population study of a sample of 55,322 illegal aliens, researchers found that they were arrested at least a total of 459,614 times, averaging about 8 arrests per illegal alien. Nearly all had more than 1 arrest. Thirty-eight percent (about 21,000) had between 2 and 5 arrests, 32 percent (about 18,000) had between 6 and 10 arrests, and 26 percent (about 15,000) had 11 or more arrests. Most of the arrests occurred after 1990.
They were arrested for a total of about 700,000 criminal offenses, averaging about 13 offenses per illegal alien. One arrest incident may include multiple offenses, a fact that explains why there are nearly one and half times more offenses than arrests. Almost all of these illegal aliens were arrested for more than 1 offense. Slightly more than half of the 55,322 illegal aliens had between 2 and 10 offenses.
This is one of those, “let me slap you upside the head!” types of articles. And congress doesn’t think this is a problem??? I want some of what they are smoking there, or at least half the money they are receiving and then maybe I could see things from their point of view.
How can congress go about stripping Citizens of their right to citizenship and blithely ignor all the problems associated with this open border policy? What do members of congress tell themselves each night? How do they explain their lack of action to their families? I guess it would take something happening to them personally before they will change their minds. Course, the odds of that happening are about 20 million to 1. Why EXACTLY are we paying these buffoons? I think we should dock them their pay until they can figure out which side of the border they live on.
The U.S. government may challenge Arizona’s new immigration law, Attorney General Eric Holder said Tuesday as Arizona officials blamed the Feds for forcing the state into passing its own immigration enforcement mechanisms.
Attorney General Eric Holder told reporters on Tuesday that he fears the new law is subject to abuse. He said that the Justice Department and the Homeland Security Department are in the midst of conducting a review of the state law.
The attorney general said a number of options are under consideration including the possibility of a court challenge.
But it’s the failure of the Obama administration to “secure our borders” that forced Arizona to pass the tough new law, Arizona Sen. John McCain said Tuesday.
Bring it ON Holder! Just you BRING IT! We’ll see if you, or Arizona, is tougher. This State is sovereign need I remind you? You don’t have a prayer in hell of succeeding! All these “may do this, might do that,” are not a basis for a law suit. Just because Fox News puts it on the air doesn’t mean it is real either. Federal law doesn’t trump State law in this instance. So bring it on!
There can be only one reason that our ports and borders are left unsecured; a desire for the destruction of the united States of America. To that end I can see leaving the ports and borders unsecured and no other reason will explain it. No other country in the world allows this to go on daily. No other country, Mexico especially, or forces crime waves, destruction of property, kidnappings, rape, and murder upon their Citizens to go unpunished and unremarked. NO OTHER!

While lamenting the disinterest in the Obama Administration for border security and immigration enforcement, Local 2544 officials said,”Now, [Attorney General Eric] Holder and DOJ [Department of Justice] apparently have found resources to challenge SB1070. This is an obvious political ploy, and Americans should be outraged if they actually go after a state for trying to do something about the out-of-control illegal immigration mess.”
“How many times have Americans heard lawmakers, mayors, governors, and immigration advocates when asked about Arizona enforcing immigration law, claim that their police officers aren’t authorized or trained to enforce immigration laws?” asks a career law enforcement officer from New York.
“Well, either these government leaders are too ignorant to to hold office or they’re out-and-out lying to the American people,” said former NYPD detective Sid Franes.
The Immigration and Nationality Act includes section 287(g), added in 1996, that grants local and state jurisdictions the ability to enforce immigration law with proper training and supervision by federal authorities. In 2003, Alabama became the second state in the nation to participate in the program by signing a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Department of Homeland Security. Florida was the first state to participate, in 2002, and later Arizona’s Sheriff Joe Arpaio sent his deputies for training.
You will notice I hope that Sheriff Joe Arpaio is STILL working for us here in Maricopa County. No federal law suit or charges have ever come about…
The truth is that if the feds aren’t going to enforce the laws they passed, it shouldn’t surprise them when when States decide to take matters into their own hands. We live here. Those in D.C. fill their pockets with cash and ignore the rest of the country. They pretend they are working for the Citizens of this country when all along they couldn’t care less. And they want us to vote for them again?
I guess the feds would like the States to be as incompetent as they are. Course with some States issuing drivers licenses to illegal aliens I guess there are some stupid States out there after all. But it must be a serious shock to the feds delusions of grandeur that we have taken the initiative away from them.
OK, so the pictures was from California Border Patrol, but it sure seems appropriate for Arizona. All I can say to those in other States and in D.C., Bring it! We’ll meet you toe to toe. This is our State, our lives. Bark all you want in your own back yard about your own stuff, but in Arizona we’ll do it our way and thank you to mind your own business. You don’t see Arizona making noises about the things that other States attempts. Like all the sanctuary cities in California and other States.
If you still want to whine, we’ll buy you some cheese to go along with it.
